Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about buying and selling trading cards on Buy and Sell Cards Online. Still stuck? Email [email protected].

How do I buy a card?
Browse the catalog, add cards to your cart, create a free account and verify your email, then check out securely with Stripe using a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Why do I need to verify my email to check out?
Email verification keeps the marketplace trustworthy for high-value cards. It confirms there's a real person on both sides of every transaction, which protects buyers and sellers alike.
How are cards shipped?
Cards ship in a penny sleeve and top loader inside a bubble mailer, sent USPS tracked, usually within one business day. Your tracking number is emailed to you automatically.
What condition are the cards in?
Each listing states the condition and, for graded cards, the grader and grade. Every listing includes real in-hand photos of the actual card, so what you see is what ships.
How are payments handled?
Checkout runs entirely on Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers. We support credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Are the sellers verified?
Yes. Every seller verifies their email address before they can list a card, and each listing shows who it is sold by.
How do I sell on Buy and Sell Cards Online?
Create an account, verify your email, click Sell a card in the header, and list in minutes. You set your own price and add your own photos.
What does it cost to sell?
Buy and Sell Cards Online takes a small platform fee per sale, shown to you when you create a listing. It is well below the rate most traditional auction sites charge, so you keep more of every sale.
Is my account secure?
Passwords are hashed with scrypt and never stored in plain text. Sign-in uses signed, http-only session cookies, and sign-in attempts are rate limited to protect against guessing.
How do I contact Buy and Sell Cards Online?
Email [email protected] any time, including before you buy if you have a question about a specific card.
